I never know if it's just me... but instead of the "Post New" or whatever button, there's a sunny meadow showing up, and in the emoticon menu, there's a woman sitting at a desk with flowers.

Shocked

Okay, I opened the emoticon menu, scrolled to the lady, put that next to the meadow, and hit print screen. Then, I simply cropped that screen cap to get this:

No explanation. Shocked Laughing

Next time you see them, try clicking within the web page and then hitting ctrl+f5 and see if they go away. Web browsers store images and things locally so that they don't need to be transferred every time when you go to a website, but sometimes, particularly on older browsers, this gets messed up and you end up with the wrong images (usually ones that belong on different web pages). ctrl+f5 will reload the entire page, even the elements that haven't been modified since your last visit, and hopefully fix it. For some reason Internet Explorer ignores ctrl+f5 (and just refreshes normally) unless the web page itself has focus, which is why you may need to click somewhere within the page first.

If cowsarenotevil's suggestion doesn't fix it (it should if Google Chrome uses the same keyboard shortcut that IE uses to force a complete reload of the current page) then just delete your browser's cache. For some reason it's reading the wrong cached files from your hard drive and loading those instead of the images it should load. (I use IE 7, Firefox 3, and Opera 5.5, and have never had a problem of this sort.)

Well, I did nothing, and everything appears to be back to normal.

*shrugs*

Thanks for the suggestions, though! Smile
