Premonition:

I was studying in France but my family was in the States. I woke up from a nightmare where I was in the car next to my sister on our way home from our american school when we hit another car at an intersection and the cars behind us crashed into us.

It was all very real. I recognised the intersection and the road.

The next morning I had to call home for some papers for school. My sister picked up and I said, "you gave me a bad night" and told her the story. She hung up on me telling me not to tease her and that I must have "talked to mom"....

I called back and got my mom. She told me my sister had been in an accident coming home from school at the exact same intersection I had seen and with the same number of cars involved. The only difference is that in my dream it was snowing. And I had woken up at the exact time that she had had the accident.

I have no explanation for this dream and since then I have had two others concerning family members but only three in all in the past twenty years.

I have also had two very strange episodes with escaped pets that I found by dreaming of their location.

Any explanation of this phenomena would be greatly appreciated. I am more of a science person than a "spooky films" person and am trying to find a rational explanation. "Coincidence" seems a little weak.

Other paranormal episodes include what I can now only call "haunted houses". Will write these down too.
