Compared to some of the stuff I've read on here this isn't particularly scary but I thought it might be worth a mention.

O.K., I have had three reasonably creepy experiences in my life. The first occured when I was 8 or thereabouts. I was sharing a room with my brother. Some data on the layout of his room is needed. The room was a rectangle about 2+1/2 metres by 5 metres, door on the long wall on the left, two windows opposite the door. We were sharing a bunkbed (him on top me on the bottom 'cos I sleepwalk)which was along the same wall as the door. My toes were pointing towards the door end of the room and I could see the light in the hall even though I couldn't see the hall its-self. It was about midnight when I woke up to go to the loo. Business done I went back to bed and started to go to sleep then all of a sudden I heard this horrendous noise halfway between a scream and a roar, the kind of thing a dinosaur might make. I know for sure I wasn't dreaming 'cos I jumped right up and hit my head on the bed above. Needless to say I spent the rest of the night awake barely daring to move. My bro' didn't hear a thing when I asked him next morning but he sleeps like a stone anyway. The house we were in at the time was brand new so I can count out floorboards and metal fatigue.

Next incident occured about four months ago (June-Julyish 2006)in the holidays. I was alone (mum was shopping) upstairs in our new (but acctually very old) house on my laptop when as clear as day I heard the front door open. My room is near the stairs and looking down the stairs gives you a direct view of the front door. I went to look but there was no-one there. At this point I was a little scared and gave the house a quick all over search. By the time I was done I was terrified. Never found a soul, not even the cat. I upped-sticks to the downstairs sofa and curled up there with a heavy torch (incase it was a thief/murderer/rapist etc.) and the TV remote 'til mum came back.

Last incident occured two days ago after I gave the cat breakfast. I was laying the table for my breakfast when I saw a flash of black in the corner of my eye. I thought it was the cat but when I looked into the kitchen he was still eating. A bit creepy really.

P.S. I don't normally believe in ghosts as they aren't that scientific.

Happy Haunting!
